To preface this story: some days, I just don't want to get dressed in the morning. Thankfully for me, there are days when it's just me (or close to it) in the office, so there's not really a dress code. Lots of the professors wear JEAN SHORTS on days that the students are gone (ack!). I never go quite that far, but those are the days I care a whole lot less about dressing up for work.
Today, I wore a snuggly orange and gray sweater, jeans, and fuzzy boots today to the office, since it was a) freezing this morning, b) really stinking comfortable, but mostly because I was c) mostly alone in the office. Oh, and I also threw on some bright lipstick to make myself feel better for being stuck inside grading papers all day, which of course looked *fabulous* with the orange sweater.
Awesome.
Of course today would be the day that my boss brings in a camera.
He needed me to sit in a Mirror Therapy box wearing an EEG cap and move my arms and legs while he took pictures for a presentation at a Social Neuroscience convention.
Now, thousands of neuroscientists get to stare at my "comfy" clothes.
At least I wasn't wearing sweatpants. I was this close!
Yeah, but as a man, some times seeing a girl a little messy is cute.
