Two years with Brittany's Joy (and counting!)

So, believe it or not, Brittany's Joy has been around for more than two years. It's second birthday came and went back in January! Just for fun, here are the top 5 most popular posts from the past year in no particular order:

No sew, no hem curtains

Back in  May of last year, I made some curtains I think I spent eleven dollars on the project in total, not counting the hardware (which I already had)? All this project required was seven yards of fabric, an iron, clip-on curtain rings, and a rod! Go check it out to see how easy this project was :)

Adding length to curtains

Another curtain post made it to the top! In this post, I lengthen some plain jute curtains from World Market using scrap fabric. I still have people asking me where I bought my bedroom curtains, so I'm pretty  happy with how they turned out.

I added sequin fabric to a plain t-shirt for Valentine's day to replicate some expensive designer brands.

holy crud it's almost Valentine's day?!

Haha oh man where does the time go? In case you didn't know it, Valentine's day is this Friday.
If you're at a loss for what to do or wear this this year, I thought I'd give you a little help:

The way to a man's heart is through his stomach, am I right? Make him swoon with a bouquet of the best kind: Bacon. Tim says hands down this was the best Valentine's Day surprise ever.

Or how about a little photo-attack (similar to the "heart attack" idea), and stick funny photos of yourself around the house declaring "I LOVE YOU!" or "HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!"? I did this for Tim's 26th birthday, but it would work for Valentine's day as well.

I love it when Valentine's day is on a friday! Lots more options that way, am I right? We haven't made plans yet, as we tend to celebrate on the 15th every year. My man knows the way to my heart is half-price roses and no crowds, haha.
