Shocker, I know.
One of my favorite
projects that I did for our wedding was our dress hangers. I’d loved the look
of personalized wire hangers {like these ones}
but worried that they would warp or buckle under the weight of my monster dress, so I
had a difficult time forking over that much cash for one.
So I made up my own design
and did it myself.
I kept one for my own dress
and gave one to each of my five bridesmaids as well. The
photos of the dresses on the hangers are some of my favorite "detail"
shots from our wedding. When else can you get away with using a
personalized hanger than at a wedding??
I had so much fun making these that I didn't stop at our wedding!

Now, onto my big news: I've opened a shop where you can purchase one (or ten) of your own!{SQUEEEEE!}
Brittany's Joy -- The Shop currently specializes in wood-and-wire hangers for special occasions. There are both personalized and standard options available! The personalized hangers start at $18 plus shipping; 'standard' (non-personalized) hangers start at $10 plus shipping.
If you’re interested in commissioning one, hop on over to the shop to start the process. I'm only offering the standard blonde wood hangers at this time, but if you have special requirements (like the dress without hanging straps), shoot me an email and I'd be happy to accommodate you.

ReplyDeleteThese are very cute indeed! I only wish we would have been able to order from you a few months ago when we were looking for one to buy for Chelsea. Sam picked out a very cute one for her dress... she loved it, makes the dress so special. Great pictures too!
