We're home! Home from a fabulous extended weekend in Las Vegas.

The short version: We saw Cirque du Soleil's Ka, walked all the way from the strip to downtown Las Vegas in 108 degree heat, and won a little money at the blackjack tables. We also did quite a bit of "touristy" stuff, since it had been years since Tim and I had visited.

We've got two cameras and an iphone's worth of pictures to sort through, plus bags to unpack and sunburns to nurse, so this will just be a quick touch-base post.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go rescue my bird, who just figured out how to climb our screen door.
